SEARCH-ing Orkut

When you are looking for things/places/mundane non-animate things: you search on Google..

What do you do when you are looking for a person? Well, search on Orkut!

Its become like a phenomena, friends who never bothered to get in touch when I was in the same town as they are located, are suddenly scrapping and increasing their friend's list. Looks like the latest thing to show-off (besides your flashy cellphone and car of course) is the NUMBER of friends you have on Orkut.

Ohmigosh, that person has 230, I got to have at least 30! So begins the search for long lost friends, colleagues, ex and current, classmates, tuition-mates, neighborhood friends, cousins, and whoever who might 'accept' the friendship! Its ridiculous but ya, I have seen people with such numbers as 300 friends..I wonder if that person has that many, he might as well start an independent political party, who knows, he might win. In all probability, he can spread the word through the communities of each of his 300 pals.. So easy na? One day it will happen....

Till then, let's orkut here, and orkut there, and orkut everywhere!

Hi folks, I read them, laughed at them & really appreciated a few of them as well. U know what orkut does nurture insanity, while it also shelters a few real gud orkuttians. Yes I am talking abt those insane, funny, stupid and a few rare too gud ones in the about me: section of orkut! I have put together a bunch of them which I have caught my attention.
